Heineken selects Motorola MC9000 - Improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction

Motorola announced that Spains Heineken brewery has selected the Motorola MC9000 to replace outdated handhelds.

Heineken deployed the Motorola MC9000 enterprise mobile computers on their centralized IT platform. This platform is leveraged by their business units- Heineken, Cruzcampo, Amstel and Legado de Yuste.

Heineken's goal is to increase their retail supply chain efficiency- reduce information loss, eliminate data discrepancies and delays in its automated retail supply chain.

The result- Heineken reported a 98% reduction in data loss. Their salespeople and distributors are now able to respond more quickly to changing customer demands which translates to happy customers! @;-)
