COX and BroadSoft Partnership - Cox deploys BroadWorks to enhance their VoIP offering
Cox Business Services has decided to deploy the BroadSoft's Broadworks VoIP platform to support their next-generation IP service. The product offers customers self-provisioning and it can tie multiple types of communications into a single service. Cox made the move to leverage BroadSoft to help them execute their overall IP strategy.
BroadSoft creates VoIP application software that lets fixed and mobile service providers offer the most advanced calling features to their enterprise and residential customers. BroadSoft's customer list is made up of major telecommunications players around the globe. Including; Sprint, Verizon, Korea Telecom, Singtel, Telefonica de Espana, Telstra and T-Systems.
BroadSoft's financial investors believe in their vision - they have invested over 60 million since their startup in 1998. Their Investors include a nice list of VC's; Charles River Ventures, Grotech Capital Group, Bessemer Venture Partners, Columbia Capital, and RRE Ventures.
