Internet on Airplanes!

Germany is busy working on Antenna Terminals for Satellite Communications.

The result...Internet-in-the-Sky

IMST and the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg unleashed a prototype of an electronically steerable antenna. This is a digital beamforming that can be used for satellite communication.

This cutting-edge innovation provides mobile satellite communication-they can steer it wherever it needs to go. Because it uses beams there are no mechanically moving parts. This is what they call Internet-in-the-Sky.

This is very interesting when you think that it could be used to deliver Internet capabilites to you while you are on an airplane!

Don't follow the path that is already there....go instead where there is no path....and leave a trail....

This trail is a part of a long journey .....
