Got Cache? Will Hack!

Cached Google Data Exposes Passwords, Social Security Numbers and more....

Web security vendor Finjan Inc. recently uncovered several unprotected hacker servers. The servers had highly sensitive data (emails, social security numbers, passwords etc.) of thousands of people. How did they get it ? GOOGLE.
Researchers used a simple string of search terms and whallah - they found stolen passwords, usernames and Social Security Numbers.

But the worst of it - they even found usernames and passwords of internal databases of companies - yes other companies. This data was all nicely packed away in Google's public caching server. Got Cache - Will hack! YIKES.

This trail is a part of a long journey .....
