Globalization & ESOA - Enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture
Globalization is pushing Companies to be more flexible and open....
Globalization is driving the need to build enterprise processess that can scale internally and externally to business partners. In the past - a company' enterprise processes focused mainly on their internal business processes. Moving forward - this will not be enough to keep companies competitive in the global marketplace.
Enterprise Service-Oriented Architecture (ESOA) enables organizations to quickly implement business strategies through rapid implementation of business processes.
ESOA provides Web services combined with business rules that is leveraged & reused for commonly used business processes. ESOA links processes, normally performed by people, directly to trading partner/companys' internal business processes. Instead of manually typing in P.O. data and faxing - the P.O. is sent via standard-based documents, EDI or XML, to their bakend systems and update dynamically to reflect the changes. This provides less errors, quicker customer repsonse times, better margins and improved customer service.
ESOA provides a blueprint for an open, felixble and adaptable IT architecture for developing services-based business solutions for the enterprise. The result - a more efficient, comeptitive and profitable company.
