Napster and Circuit City - Launch Music Service

Circuit City announced a partnership with Napster to launch a co-branded download service. They will offer music search and community features including personalized lists with recommendations, playlist browsing, sharing and message board capability.

The team will provide exclusive content, weekly new releases with artist updates. The business model is "all-you-can-eat" as a service for $14.95 per month. Circuit City and Napster will sell single downloads of songs for 99 cents. The scheduled launch is April 29th.
