New Zealand C4 - NextGen TV viewership goes Mobile

In this very mobile age - "TV" viewers are now mobile viewers too. We want TV for Zune, iPods, PSPs and more! NextGen viewers, the Naptser, YouTube and MySpace croud, are expecting to watch their favorite shows on their mobile devices. Ok ...for this generation - we want it, where we want it, when we want it... NOW - might be a good rule of thumb!

So here we go - New Zealand music television network C4 and production firm the Gibson Group announced a multi-platform soap opera called "My Story." There are two-minute episodes in the 40-chapter series. The story is about a self-confessed geek who wants to become a journalist.

The show will debut on C4 television before moving to the mobile platform. Episode will be offered online with a the sjow's bonus material. C4 is charging 20 cents per mobile episode download. The first 1000 consumers to register will receive all 40 chapters for free.
