IP Convergence - Majority of Exec's believe it is strategic to business and IT goals

AT&T's Economist Intelligence Unit just completed a survey solidifying that enterprises around the world are moving to converged IP networks.

 

In AT&T's global survey with senior level executives, many state that IP convergence has been implemented in all or most of their business.  In fact, 84% of them view convergence as critical to their strategic IT goals verses the 45% vote last year. This is almost double the number comapred to last year.  

 

The result - the majority polled agree that IP convergence is strategic and key to both business and IT goals.
