iPhone Gets a Makevoer - Lonerg battery life and scratch resistant screen

Apple's iPhone was set to deliver the phone on June 29th - that's still a GO!
The good news is that they decided to deliver the iPhone with eight hours of battery talk time verses the projected 5 hours - YEA! What were they thinking. This will be a battery hog I bet.

Apple reportedly will also upgrade the iPhone casing and will include a 3.5 inch display that is optical-quality glass to resist scratches and increase clarity. Apple research reports that there are four multi-function devices that all have plastic screens: Nokia's N95, RIM's BlackBerry Curve 8300, Samsung's BlackJack and the Palm Treo 750.

Now that Apple's iPhone will have eight hours of talk time and 24 hours of audio playback -they are in the top leader list for smart phone battery life. The'll need it with the touchscreen and graphics!
