YAHOO's CEO Resigns?? Google is making them sweat!

Yahoo announced the resignation of CEO Terry Semel. Jerry Yang, who co-founded the company in 1994 will take over the helm. The motivator was the fact that Google is taking the lead better address the growing and stiig competition they have formed three operating groups- one of them will be sure to focus on mobile and digital platforms!

According to the The New York Times, Semel's resignation likely portends a full-scale corporate overhaul that could include a merger or sale. Watch for possible mpovement here between Yahoo, MySpace or another heavy-hitter portal like AOL.
