Rx Response Coalition - Disaster preparedness
There is a new coalition of pharma companies trying to improve delivery of medications during disasters.
Their name is the Rx Response coalition. Their goal is to provide a cenal command center to be better prepared to distribute medications during emergencies-like Katrina and 9-11.
Currently, they have a new web site that allows patients to print a card listing their name and the dosage of prescriptions that their doctor provided Along with their doctor's number and critical data required to provide them with consistant quality of care.
I'd be interested to see what compliance rules and security they have deployed on this system. If anyone knows-please post!
