iPhone hits the Jackpot with Google!

The partnership delivers quick launch capability to Googles' Gmail, Calendar, and Reader services.

Google launched a new application enabling iPhone users to navigate Google mobile web services from the menu bar.

Gummi Hafsteinsson , Googles Mobile product manager, claims that the Safari browser on the iPhone is the same as Mac OS X. So its very similar to using your desktop. Making the iPhone more user friendly.

The iPhone browser, Safari, also supports AJAX. This gives the ability for predicting a users navigation behaviors. This functionality delivers faster performance when navigating the iPhone applications as it predicts what application you want to access. The users navigation behaviors are most likely cached in memory.

Google just may take Microsoft's throne as King of techology for the new millenium. They have achieved this now- in my view.
