Comcast to provide open TV and Movie programming

Comcast announces a new service that allows you to watch any TV show or movie at anytime you like.

Comcasts' innovative offering delivers the first 100% On Demand in-home service. This means that you choose what you are in the mood to watch instead of having to conform to a set show schedule. The release date will be announced in the coming months.

In the meantime, you can go to fancast.com for access to over 3,000 shows - FREE via the Internet.

To deliver these movies they are using what they call wideband. The benefit over broadband? A blistering 4 minute movie download time verses a 4-6 hour crawl!
