iPhone for Verizon Users

Verizon Users - Get ready for the iPhone in 2010!

It is rumored that Apple is building hybrid iPhones for the Verizon CDMA2000 network and the UMTS 3G network iPhone uses on the AT&T service.

I think it is very true. If it is true - it is a good move on Apples part to make the iPhone compatible with Verizon in the U.S. This will expand Verizons market greatly. I believe that the only reason this has not occured yet is that Apple had an exclusive with AT&T through 2010. So - it is no shock that the date is currently set for the 3rd quarter of 2010. I have both Verizon and AT&T cell phones because I wanted the functionality of the iPhone. When this is release one of the services will be cancelled! Point in case - free market. Request - APPLE - please port the iPhone SDK to Windows!
