FTC - Identity Theft is #1 Complaint
In 2009 identity theft was ranked as the number-one consumer complaint category according to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
It is reported that 1.3 million people were victims of identity theft accounting for 21% of total complaints per the FTC.
