AT&T offers iPhone with Enterprise Wireless offering

AT&T has added Apple's iPhone as an option with their enterprise wireless plan. The coroprate world may embrace the iPhone if it delivers enterprise functionality and rich applications for the office user.

This has been a topic up for debate over the past months. In previous releases, the iPhone has not supported business related applications. Therefore, the use of the iPhone has been limited for the corporate user. Hopefully, with more applications being developed, the iPhone will serve-up the functionality required to work efficiently while on the move.

Their larger challenge will be trying to bump the Blackberry out of that spot. This will be difficult without a real difference in applications, ease of use and a price equal or lower to the Blackberry. If the cost is more-than it will need to really be justified past the hype.
