Frengo Social Mobile provider to interface with Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and more
Frengo, a social mobile services provider, just announced their suite of applications that will intergrate with Bebo, Facebook, MySpace, hi5 and Orkut. Tjhis will allow users to interact with existing contacts while also discovering individuals that have similar interests. This service is not dependent on a specific social networking site- so it is more open that what we have seen in the past.
Frengo is offering what they call their Flirtable mobile social browsing and dating application.
This has around four million members on Facebook and is now expanding onto MySpace, hi5, Orkut and Bebo networks.
Here is their quote:
"We're enabling users to interact with different site users without doing anything different--we've built these applications to be seamless, and we don't demarcate whether you're a Facebook or MySpace user," said Frengo CEO Mahi de Silva in an interview with FierceMobileContent. "Owners of social networks want more traffic, more stickiness and more reason for the user to come back and be engaged. What works well for social networking communities is these kinds of applications that create interactivity."
